Privacy Policy
Effective date: 26 October 2026
This policy explains how the Pawchart mobile app ("the app") handles your data. In short: everything you enter about your pets stays on your phone. The app has no accounts, we do not run servers that store your data, we do not show ads and we do not use analytics or tracking tools.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is KAROL NIEMIEC APPXNEXT, ul. Pogórze 26, 32-031 Gaj, Poland, NIP 9442276005. Contact: knappxnext@gmail.com.
2. Data processed on your device
- Pet records. Pet profiles (name, species, breed, birth date, sex, weight, microchip number, notes), medications, doses given and vaccinations that you enter are stored in the app's private storage on your device only.
- Photos. If you add a photo of your pet, the app asks for access to the camera or lets you pick a picture from your photo library. Only the photo you choose is copied into the app's private storage. The app does not read or upload your other photos.
- Reminders for medications and vaccinations are scheduled locally on your device with your permission to show notifications.
We, the developer, have no access to this data. The app does not use your location.
3. Data sent to third parties
- Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). We never see your payment details. To check whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, Inc. (USA), which receives a random app user ID, purchase information, device type, operating-system version and app version. RevenueCat acts as our processor. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Device backups. If you have enabled iCloud Backup or Android backup, your operating system may include the app's data in your personal backup. This is controlled by you and by Apple or Google.
Information about your pets is not shared with anyone unless you choose to share it yourself.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on providing the service you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on your consent to camera, photo-library and notification access, which you can withdraw at any time in your device settings (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
5. Your rights
You can delete a pet with all its records in the app, and you can delete all app data at any time by deleting the app. Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict processing of your data, to data portability, to object and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych). Because your data stays on your device, most requests can be fulfilled directly in the app. For anything else, contact us at the address above.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children under 16.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always available on this page with its effective date.
