Terms of Use
Effective date: 19 October 2026
1. Provider
Staycount is provided by KAROL NIEMIEC APPXNEXT, ul. Pogórze 26, 32-031 Gaj, Poland, NIP 9442276005, knappxnext@gmail.com.
2. The service
Staycount helps you count the days you spend in each country and compares them with rules you choose, such as Schengen 90/180, 183-day tax thresholds and the US Substantial Presence Test.
3. Not legal or tax advice
Staycount is an informational tool. It is not legal, tax or immigration advice. Visa status and tax residency often depend on more than the number of days, and rules can change. Automatic tracking depends on your device, its settings and location services and can be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for checking your records and for decisions based on them. If in doubt, consult a qualified adviser or the competent authority.
4. Subscriptions
Some features require Staycount Pro, a paid subscription sold through the App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before they end. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
5. Acceptable use
Do not reverse-engineer, resell or misuse the app. On iOS, the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including fines, refused entry or taxes, arising from the use of the app or from inaccurate or missing data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the current version is published on this page. These terms are governed by Polish law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
